This may seem simple but it is a very important indicator of health. It is about listening to the body. Usually, the body would know when you have had enough. But how many times do we force ourselves to go beyond even if our bodies tell us otherwise?
How many times do you starve the whole day then eat a whole ton of food?
A healthy way is to trust your internal body signals; if you feel like it’s enough food stop there until the next time you are hungry.
2. You are eating a balanced diet
Usually, a healthy indicator is that you eat a varied diet. Make sure your meal has vegetables, fruits, proteins, minerals, vitamins and that you are well hydrated. Balancing your food intake is a great indicator that your body is being nourished well.
3. Eating enough!
Now here is the thing, many people want to cut on calories until they have no bodily energy even to go about their normal duties. Calories are broken down by your body to form the energy that is important to the body. If you eat less than your body requires you are going to struggle. Therefore it’s about the balance. Eat a balanced diet but also eat enough.
4. You don’t pant while going upstairs!

Stairs are a good measure of health, when going upstairs do you lose breath? Chest pains? If you experience this it may be an indicator that you need more cardiovascular exercise to get your body strong enough to withstand physical exercise.
